The Zicksee is a small steppe lake in the Seewinkel. The muddy bottom of the lake contains a lot of sulphur, Glauber's salt and soda, called "Zick" by the local people. Hence the name of the lake. Due to its shallow depth, the Zicksee has a relatively high water temperature (spring and autumn around 15 °C, in summer mostly well over 20 °C). The Zicksee is a windsurfing area, there is a surfboard rental right on the lake. Due to its shallow depth, it is a standing area and well suited for beginners, water start students and speed surfers.

The Zicksee is a small steppe lake in the Seenwinkel. The muddy bottom of the lake contains a lot of sulfur, Glauber's salt and soda, known by the people as "Zick". This is where the name of the lake comes from.

A steppe lake a good 2 km long in Seewinkel at 116 m above sea level with medicinal water containing soda. Unfortunately the water depth is only about 1 m.

There was a pre-Reformation parish which was rebuilt in 1703. On the site of a church built in 1724, a new building was built in 1937 according to the plans of the architect Stieböck.
