The trip to the moated castle was worth it. The surrounding scenery was also beautiful.

Slightly away from Lake Constance, this cycle path passes through beautiful apple orchards. On the Swiss side, you can see the Alps rising up on the horizon.

Magnificent standard apple tree meadow along the Thurgauer Panoramaweg. The orchards are a feast for the eyes, especially in spring when they are blooming and in late summer during the harvest.

Hagenwil is a well-preserved, well-maintained moated castle and a worthy representative of the olden days

The prism shaped tower looks cool and offers views of Lake Constance and the mountain range. There are towers in Thurgau with more spectacular views, such as the Stählibuck and the Napoleon Tower, but the short climb is definitely worth it.
