Beautiful view over the Rhine Valley

Here you have a gigantic view of the Saxerlücke. The ridge path from Hoher Kasten is well developed and secured with ropes where necessary. It's more relaxing if you don't have a head for heights. Good footwear and sure-footedness required. When there is fog in the Rhine Valley, mystical atmospheres arise here.

Grabser Mühlbach History of the Grabser Mühlbach It is not yet known when the Grabser Mühlbach was created and who built it. However, we know that this commercial canal was of great economic importance for the village of Grabs in the 19th century. In order to jointly regulate the maintenance and use of the Mühlbach, the water rights holders came together to form the waterworks corporation in 1897. In 2023 the cooperation celebrated its 125th anniversary. The importance of the Grabser Mühlbach for the entire population is reflected in the poem written by the Grabser work teacher and poet Katharina Vetsch (1858 - 1938).
