This small agricultural road, on the border between Switzerland and France, allows you to admire Basel in the distance. The agglomeration is easily recognizable by the Roche Towers, the two towers of the headquarters of the pharmaceutical company Roche.

The Allschwil Water Tower is a water tower located in the municipality of Allschwil in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. Construction began in 1970, and the roof terrace has been open to the public since 1983. The 42.5-meter-high tower is founded on 18-meter-long concrete piles driven into loess soil. It contains two reservoirs with a total capacity of 990 cubic meters of drinking water, including a 100-cubic-meter reserve for firefighting. The viewing platform at a height of 38 meters is open only on Sundays and public holidays during limited hours. An elevator provides access to the platform. From the tower, there is a panoramic view stretching from Basel across the Black Forest to the Leimental valley.
