The Wangen-Lachen airfield is an exceptional airfield with its (only) 500m long hard surface runway and its location directly on the upper Lake Zurich, surrounded by green nature and in front of the impressive Alps. Slope alignment 08/26.

The first exterior renovation of the Lachner parish church took place in 1876, the first interior renovation was carried out in 1882/83. In 1953/54 the exterior was renovated again. In 1955 the church got a new bell ringing with six bells. From 1967 to 1969 the interior had to be renovated again and the exterior was renovated for the last time in 1985.

The cycle path on the northern shore of the Obersee is frequented by many cyclists and pedestrians, especially at weekends.
