Incredible view of the peak of Mount Rigi, otherwise known as the Queen of Mountains. The panorama over Lake Lucerne and the nearby Alps is breathtaking.

Now in autumn, fishermen are here all day long. Enough space for everyone! Cycle path along the lake, lots of lovely places to stop. Here too, a small peninsula, some places to sit where you can stop even when the temperature is colder.

Rigi-Kulm is usually located above the sea of fog, with a correspondingly great panoramic view.

A round trip with great views on the myths ⛰️

The Trinity Chapel, also known as the Federal Chapel, is located not far from the boat station in Brunnen. It stands exactly on the spot where the second oath of the Swiss Confederation is said to have taken place in 1315.

Many roads converge in Brunnen, which is beautifully situated on Lake Lucerne, making it a good starting point, rest stop or destination for a tour of Central Switzerland. Important and good to know for cyclists: The well-known Axenstrasse between Brunnen and Altdorf is currently being renovated and is therefore closed to bicycles. However, there is a free shuttle bus that runs between Brunnen and Sisikon. This means that the closed part of the road can still be included in a tour.
