Beautiful views of the mountains!

Magnificent view of the historic center, with the river it makes a magnificent landscape. A bit of a shame that there is the main road not far away with the incessant noise of cars... but it's still worth it!

Very nice walk between paths, forests, small roads with a superb panorama. Small difference in altitude but on a steep and short climb. A very nice little tea room awaits you on arrival in Saint Lizier, a charming little medieval village. We loved it

Sainte-Croix-Volvestre, set in the hilly landscape of Ariège, seduces with its medieval character and its tranquility. The 16th century church dominates the village. Local market, winding streets and surrounding nature make it a place of relaxation. Stroll along the Volp or near the lake!

Formerly an episcopal seat and a stopover on the way to Santiago de Compostela, this quiet village has perfectly preserved its older buildings and is worth a detour.

By this road (which turns out to have a good percentage of ascent), we again take a little height. The mountains at the bend of very pretty curves on the road and in the landscape appear in all their majesty. This beautiful countryside bears the name of Pyrenean Piedmont.
