Perched on a rocky promontory, the village of Pujols is listed among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France." It overlooks the Lot and Mail valleys. Its medieval streets, stronghold, and imposing fortifications make this a charming place for a stroll.

Small medieval town of Pujol which is magnificent! It is quiet, it is very relaxing! We don't want to leave! Next time I would like to stay there to eat!!

The medieval town of Pujol is worth the climb to reach it: it's pretty, old, I would have loved to stop at the creperie, the setting is great!! (but I still had 120 km to do...)

Took a turn to Pujols. Here we are under the tower of Pujols. Should be included in the route. Quite a sturdy clamp, you know. (Just on TURBO that e-bike).

Located in Sainte Colombe de Villeneuve, they are natural, shaped 25 million years ago by an underground river. They allow us to understand the geology of the territory. There are three rocks in the caves, the limestone in which they were dug, the clay, insoluble which forms plugs or deposits and finally the calcite which is calcium carbonate which the saturated water deposits while evaporating. This material is the component of stalactites, stalagmites, columns, draperies and flows. It is made up of seven rooms, the Well room, the Ratepenado room, the Round room, the Columns room, the Marboutin room, the Statue room and the Source room. The constant temperature is around 14°C all year round.
