Hello everyone! Our hike from Gfellen via Risetenstock to Stäfeliflue and back truly had it all, from leisurely forest and meadow paths to steeper, alpine sections with magnificent views of the Central Swiss Alps. A varied route that perfectly combines nature, panoramas, and a challenge. The difficulty ranges from T1 to T3 (only a few sections are in the T3 range), depending on the specific section. Surefootedness, a head for heights, and alpine experience are essential, especially on the exposed sections. Some passages require a steady footing and full concentration. The descent can currently be quite tricky; fallen leaves make the paths slippery, and there's already some snow in places, requiring extra caution. Hiking poles are highly recommended. For me personally, this hike was a moderately difficult mountain hike, but it can become significantly more challenging depending on the weather and ground conditions. I would recommend it primarily between April and October. During the winter months, when there's a lot of snow, I wouldn't recommend this tour, as it can quickly become a difficult and potentially dangerous mountain hike.
