A lovely hike with a fair amount of climbing. Upon reaching the top, you climb the ridge to the summit. Magnificent view ♡ People with a fear of heights should avoid! This hike is not ideal for those with a dog or walking poles.

At just 1,875 metres above sea level, the Dent de Jaman stands out with its shape reminiscent of the highest Alpine peaks. Even if you are in the Vaud Pre-Alps, its ascent is technical and requires a certain amount of experience.

A great view of Lake Geneva, which is not always the case as the lake is often covered in fog.

Looking out over Lake Geneva from an altitude of 1000 metres, the Cauxcentre can accommodate up to 400 people. Formerly the Caux-Palace Hotel, in 1946 it became an international meeting place, thanks to the generous contributions in time, talent and money of many volunteers. The view of Lake Geneva and Mt. Blanc in the background is said to be breathtaking. Unfortunately, the weather conditions on my tour weren't quite perfect.

The Grotte de Naye is an impressive passage cave in Switzerland's Vaud Alps. It is known for its fascinating ice stalactite formations and its breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the surrounding landscape. The cave is accessible via a scenic hiking trail. The length of the cave is approximately 350 meters with a height difference of almost 50 meters. Only do it in summer and at your own risk.

In the past, about 30 years ago, the path was not so well developed with ladders and stairs. Whoever chose this path would have to go through the cave. Today you have two options. Still only for good hikers.
