charming fortified village with magnificent views of the Eyrieux valley

The Chervil Bridge, located in Ardèche, is an elegant structure spanning the Eyrieux River between Saint-Sauveur-de-Montagut and Les Ollières-sur-Eyrieux. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, it is distinguished by its unique reinforced concrete arch, a testament to the first major technical advances of the time. Nestled in a remarkable natural setting, this bridge offers a picturesque view of the valley and is an iconic landmark for walkers along the Dolce Via.

This section of the GR offers a magnificent view from a balcony overlooking the Moulinas and La Roche viaducts. The bumpy sections punctuate the walk, which is not monotonous.

The chestnut tree and the acacia in the center of the village are worth the detour alone.
