An almost unknown peak, easy to climb, with beautiful views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers

An incredible view. The best way to climb the peak is with a rope. But the minimum safety equipment is an ice axe and crampons. There are anchor points/eyelets in the rocks.

Great bike tour, not strenuous! Jamtalhütte is super nice, not expensive, staff and host very nice! Great area.

It is incredibly beautiful and the rocky, challenging paths are worth it.

A great little peak that should be worth a detour for all hikers in this area. A good compromise for anyone who finds the Hohe Rad too unsafe.

The Radsattel offers two options. The most obvious is to climb the Hoher Rad, the unmissable 2900m peak that towers a good 200m high. The second option is aimed at less experienced mountaineers who still don't want to leave without reaching the summit, because they climb the Piz 6R, which is quickly accessible and only a little higher up, and whose cross was created as part of a school project.
