I will check that on my 3rd Pyrenees traverse. 😄 If you ever come to Gavarnie, you have to hike to the upstream Pimene. For me the most grandiose all-round view in the French Pyrenees.

There is a water spring and a water trough here. Horses are around because of the water. Again, to be on the safe side, I used my filter.
