A lovely hike with a fair amount of climbing. Upon reaching the top, you climb the ridge to the summit. Magnificent view ♡ People with a fear of heights should avoid! This hike is not ideal for those with a dog or walking poles.

Unfortunately, the summit climb was difficult at the end of May due to the snow-covered Kaiseregg Pass. In spring, with persistent snow, it's only recommended for experienced and/or well-equipped hikers. Crampons and poles were a must for me!

Between the Cheval Blanche and the Hochmatt, this beautiful ridge path with the best panorama leads into the Bulle plain and into the Alps.

The Salzmatt Hut, located in the picturesque Schwarzsee region, is a real insider tip for nature lovers and hikers. Wood-paneled walls, a crackling fireplace and simple but comfortable furniture contribute to the authentic mountain ambience. Here you can relax wonderfully after a strenuous hike and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
