The Cordeliers de Châteauroux convent was founded in the 13th century by religious mendicants. Destroyed in the 16th century, the convent was not restored until 1975.

This castle is called Château du Magnet. It is a private property, built in the 16th century. It was once the residence of a famous dancer, Céleste Mogador. The castle was also mentioned in George Sand's novel "La Mare au Diable".

This small village not far from Chateauroux, Le Poinçonnet is a gateway to access an important nature center.
