I find this extremely embarrassing! ... Have fun discovering......" - how useful this function is remains to be seen (you can imagine what I think of it from my reaction!) - to add their two cents (or rather, the two cents from the Italians) to something they presumably don't have a clue about. - how useful this function is, I'll leave aside for now (you can imagine what I think of it from my reaction!). She proves this by publishing the text here – legally very questionable and almost audacious (I don't assume she asked the copyright holder for permission) – verbatim and without attribution: https://www.ligerz.ch/sehenswuerdigkeitendf/35764 1:1 as a copy?! One can certainly make a name for oneself this way, for better or for worse. I'll leave it to the readers to decide which category her post belongs in... for me, it's clear! Who doesn't know "the Ligerz Church"? After a stroll through the vineyards, visitors arrive at the late Gothic building and realize it's a church the size of Biel's city church. How did a community like Ligerz come to have such a large church? In 1417, the inhabitants of Schafis, Ligerz, and Kleintwann were granted permission to build their own chapel. In 1482, the small church was replaced by a large pilgrimage church, which, endowed with relics from Rome and a special indulgence granted by 15 cardinals, became a major attraction for the faithful. Between 1961 and 1972, the entire church was restored in several phases. Even today, the Ligerz Church remains a popular wedding venue.
