The lake is beautiful. It is of glacial origin. Pay attention to the pozzines (plant formations) as they are protected and swimming in the lake is prohibited. However, the deep greens, azure blues, roaming cattle and horses make this a magical place to visit.

Creno Lake teems with wildlife and is grazed by cattle. You can ride there with a pony or a horse, rented from the car park below. The lake is famous for its water lilies and when you couple that with the picturesque pine trees that surround it, this lake is truly a treasure to be found.
