Located by the roadside, you'll find a lovely rest area here with a monument in honor of General Guisan. The view in the other direction is also worthwhile, as the Bernese Alps are clearly visible thanks to the elevated position on the Dentenberg. There's a trash can by the barbecue area.

This forest path is used by both runners and bikers. So if you're on foot, keep your eyes and ears open.

You'll hardly notice it during your run, but when you look at your recording afterwards, you'll see it: In the Schärmewald forest, the forest paths form a heart. Cute, isn't it? :-)

The BäreTower in Ostermundigen, at 101 meters tall, is the ninth tallest building in Switzerland, the tallest in the canton of Bern, and the tallest residential building in Switzerland. It has 33 floors, and the ninth floor houses a panoramic restaurant open to the public.

The Grosse Allmend in northeast Bern is a popular local recreation area for all kinds of leisure activities. It's primarily used for football, but other sports are also practiced around the large green space. Runners can run around the Grosse Allmend; a path leads all the way around it.

The Schärmewald is a small municipal forest below Ittigen. It has several wide forest paths running through it, making it well-suited for running.
