The Forest House, located in the Saint-Hubert Forest of Sarralbe, was built between 1869 and 1871. It is the former hunting lodge of Baron Ferdinand de Schmid. Built of cut stone, its two towers give it the appearance of a castle. Its ornaments, affixed to the top of its pediment and keystone, are worth a visit. Enjoy your walk by exploring the arboretum located opposite the lodge, as well as the Mardelles trail.

The cycle path runs along the Sarralbe river stop. There are picnic tables for a break.

Impressive church in the town with the beautiful city gate.

Wonderful little town with restaurants, cafes and bakery. Good place to take a break or stay overnight.

Sarralbe (German Saaralben, Lorraine Alwe or Saaralwe) is a commune in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region in France (until 2015 Lorraine). The place belongs to the arrondissement of Sarreguemines and is the capital of the canton of Sarralbe. Sarralbe has 4555 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) on 27.29 km² and is the third largest municipality in the arrondissement after Saargemünd and Bitsch.

The church, built in 1907, is located directly on the Saar next to the centuries-old Bliesmühle and forms a beautiful architectural ensemble with it. Nearby is the Saar Bridge and the old door from the 13th century.

A very nice well-kept rest area with benches and tables. Sarralbe is a small town with a few shops where you may find a snack or just a drink at a "petite cafe" on the side of the road.
