Incredible view of the peak of Mount Rigi, otherwise known as the Queen of Mountains. The panorama over Lake Lucerne and the nearby Alps is breathtaking.

A via ferrata set also works with the holding bolts, although it is a bit laborious. Nevertheless, it can be helpful to avoid injuries, as on the steep climb through forests and meadows it is inevitable that the soles of your shoes will become muddy and slippery. You may then not be able to find a proper grip on the pebbles of the conglomerate.

The Rotsee-Badi in Ebikon is a beautifully located bathing complex on the Rotsee. The pool is open from May to September.

This is the most direct route over several sections, some of which are very steep - secured with ropes and chains but rather difficult when wet. But the spots can also be easily bypassed. But I only found the direct route in the fog

The section just below the Tristenboden up to the Rigi, it's really fun, it goes over several chain passages in the quite exposed area up to the summit. You have mega great views of Lake Zug and over to Pilatus. The view over the Nagelfluh bands is also sensational. However, you should be sure-footed and not afraid of heights. An absolute pleasure for all those who like alpine terrain.

Very nice view over the lake and the Alps and at the same time quite easy to reach - accordingly popular and often well frequented.
