monastery In memory of the native Rickenbach mother Mother Cherubine Willimann (1842 - 1914), the founder of the Congregation of the Dominicans of Arenberg (D), in 1984 the present monastery with chapel and a small guest house was built. Since then many guests have found here a place of rest, relaxation and prayer. Unfortunately, at the end of 2018 the guest house had to be closed for economic reasons. The small convent with four sisters, however, has remained on site and maintains the monastic life until further notice.
