The Mazobre Waterfall, located in the Palentina Mountains within the Fuentes Carrionas and Fuente Cobre Natural Park, is one of the most spectacular spots in the province of Palencia. It is located near Cardaño de Arriba, in the municipality of Velilla del Río Carrión.

This park is surrounded by the Carrión River and the Cuérnago River, forming an island that is divided into two areas. The northern part of the park is a recreational area with abundant vegetation, including beech, poplar, chestnut, birch, ash and elm trees. It also has landscaped areas and small architectures integrated into nature. The park offers various outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling and bird watching. In addition, there is a water geyser between the Puente Mayor and the viewpoint, which is one of the most emblematic places in the park.

A bridge of Roman origin, renovated in the 15th century, which was an important enclave in the development of road and commercial networks from the Vaccaean period to the beginning of the 20th century. There are no remains of its Roman origins, but there are remains of its medieval layout. Medieval pilgrimages and markets are currently held in its surroundings.

The Bear Trail in Cervera de Pisuerga is a circular hiking route of approximately 11 kilometres. It begins at the San Roque bridge and follows the right bank of the Pisuerga River, passing through the village of Arbejal and reaching the Requejada reservoir.

Climbing Curavacas is an exciting experience for mountain lovers. There are several routes available, such as Callejo Grande and Senda del Notario, which offer different levels of difficulty. In addition, in the area you can find glacial lagoons, such as Pozo Curavacas and Pozos del Ves, which add a special touch to the landscape.
