Town where you can settle down to do various bicycle routes and climb some of the mythical (and not so well-known) passes and Pyrenean peaks. Below I leave you a list: Tourmalet, Luz Ardiden, Cirque du Troumousse, Col des Tentes, Plateau de Saugué, Pont d'Espagne, Cambasque, Hautacam, Col des Borderes, Col de Soulor, Col d'Aubisque, Col des Spandelles.

Lake Oule is an artificial body of water which is 1,819 meters above sea level. Located in the Aure valley, it is one of the largest in the Néouvielle reserve.

This natural lake, of glacial origin, is revealed to walkers arriving via the passes. Well sheltered behind its granite barrier, it is impossible to see it from the bottom of the massif. Over time, the geology of the massif made it possible to dig a basin and create a rocky edge. It is this "glacial lock" that erases Lake Port Bielh from the landscape when you are below. Apart from a few hook pines, you will not find much vegetation there. The site is essentially mineral but still offers small lawns suitable for camping.

The Church of Saint-André, known as the Templars, was built between the 12th and 13th centuries. It was only later that the ramparts were built to protect the inhabitants of Luz from Spanish attacks. If the church still occupies a central place in the city, it also seems to play a role in the sky. Indeed, this monument is a marvelous observation site for those who want to see falcons and kites. The two birds of prey have taken up residence in the towers of the building.

Lake Oule, an artificial body of water, is one of the largest in the Néouvielle reserve. His work dates from the interwar period, when the Midi railway company decided to transform a pasture plateau into a water reservoir in order to supply the Eget hydroelectric power station. Its waters come from Lake Oredon through a canal designed to supply the body of water.
