Hautacam is located in the heart of the Argelès-Gazost valley at 1,520 meters above sea level. It is reached by means of a 13.5 km climb with an average gradient of 7.9% from Ayros-Arbouix.

The peak of Néouvielle is a superb summit which is located in the nature reserve of the same name. Culminating at 3,091 meters above sea level, it offers a series of breathtaking panoramas over the Pyrenees and the surrounding lakes. The last meters of the climb are on a scree, stay vigilant to stay on the path.
