Surrounded by meadows, fields, and pastures, you cross the Blies River on a simple yet atmospheric footbridge. No traffic, no noise – just the feeling of simply leaving borders in your mind behind. 🇩🇪🇫🇷 Tip: Ideal for hikers or cyclists who want to consciously cross the border – with one foot in France, the other in the Saarland countryside.

This is a religious mound with artefacts all around it. Just before you reach Tenteling, France. It invites you to stop and look to see what it actually ise

Cafe Cote Canal is always worth a visit.

The supposed cycle path along the Blies is not a cycle path in terms of traffic law but a recreational path, with pedestrians having right of way. Please note the blue mandatory signs.

Nice small country road from Bousbach to Tenteling. A realy joy to drive. Only an occassional car which then makes the road appear too small.

Amazing cycle route on good asphalt across the fields … though no protection from the sun or the wind. Keep that in mind when planning your tour.
