Quite a difficult climb but it's quite easy to do (you might have to push the bike if you're not in good shape). Very pleasant descent, pleasant road and beautiful view.

At this point most of the mountain bike routes that run through the vallée des gaves start. There is a large parking lot so it is a good starting point for a nice mountain bike route. Single track along the Gave de Pau river, a nice unpaved alternative to the voie verte that also runs through the valley.

After a steep climb you can rest here and cool down in the fresh air that comes from the cave entrance. You also have a nice view here.
