A visit to the old town of Tournus is worthwhile

The cycle path is built on the old towpath on the banks of the Saône between Marnay and Tournus. With the proximity of the water, we come across boaters and also birds which testify to the environmental value of the place. Along the way, cyclists can stop at water sports stops and other establishments, some of which offer tire inflation services.

Saint-Philibert Abbey Church is a gem of Romanesque architecture. During a walk around the abbey you will discover the picturesque alleys with old houses

From here you have a beautiful view of Saint-Philibert Abbey which is a masterpiece of Romanesque art. The monument is open every day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Very interesting pass for working on cardio. The ascent via Mancey is much more difficult than via Corlay. The mountain bike trails are also very nice! 😊

The abbey church of Saint-Philibert de Tournus is a masterpiece of Romanesque art from the 11th and 12th centuries. The church, the cloister, the chapter house, the refectory and the saddler constitute one of the only monastic ensembles of the 11th century. The unique architecture of the nave offers a striking light. Don't miss going down into the crypt and climbing up to the Saint-Michel chapel.
