Very pretty village

A small mountain junction with some infrastructure: bakeries, shops, and even places to stop for refreshments. Those driving towards the Bavella Pass from the west or south will inevitably pass through Zonza.

On the Cucuruzzu-Capula archaeological site trail. Easy, well-shaded hike, mostly in the forest. Admission is €4 per adult.

The Castellu di Cucuruzzu is the most important archaeological site in Corsica. Nestled at 700 meters above sea level, it dates back to the Bronze Age. It is possible to visit it for €4.

The pretty little mountain village of Levie is located at the crossroads of several hiking trails. This historic village was one of the first liberated from the Nazi occupiers. There is also the Alta Rocca Museum and the archaeological sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula.

Beautiful biotope with an old Genoese bridge that has been restored and is accessible. Free parking on the country road. Bathing facilities available. We spotted perch, eels, dragonflies, lizards, frogs and even a turtle. Have fun! To the bridge: THE BRIDGE OF SPINA CAVADDU on the Rizzanese between Arbellara and Sartène. It is a 12th-century Genoese bridge that was destroyed by various floods, including the last one in 1994, hence its current appearance. It is characterized by a unique arc and the accentuated break of the narrow roadway in the large device.

Beautiful place in the interior. Transport hub. Lots of places to stop for a break. Only the density of motorized two-wheelers is sometimes a bit unpleasant 🙉
