Very pretty village

Beautiful eroded granite rocks in the heart of the forest.

Founded in 1492 by Rinuccio, the convent has undergone multiple renovations over the centuries. Built facing the Alta Rocca mountains, it solemnly dominates the valley.

The Castellu di Cucuruzzu is the most important archaeological site in Corsica. Nestled at 700 meters above sea level, it dates back to the Bronze Age. It is possible to visit it for €4.

The pretty little mountain village of Levie is located at the crossroads of several hiking trails. This historic village was one of the first liberated from the Nazi occupiers. There is also the Alta Rocca Museum and the archaeological sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula.

Sainte-Lucie-de-Tallano is a charming little village nestled in the heart of Corsica. Its medieval heritage is linked to the powerful lords who dominated the Rizzanese valley. You will find somewhere to sleep there as well as several possibilities to eat.

The Rizzanese is a beautiful and wide river which winds at the bottom of a wild valley through the scrub and the forest. It is crossed via a pretty recently renovated bridge.
