While staying on the asphalt, you can cover more than 24 km. From the St. Brice Courcelles side, you can go up to La Neuvillette, then to Courcy, it's an unpaved road (passable but not for road bikes). After Courcy, there's asphalt up to Berry au Ferry (this allows you to discover the Sapigneul Owl, about 150 m on dirt road). On the other side, after Sillery, you can continue to Beaumont (asphalt). Then, on a dirt road passable by mountain bike, you can go to the Billy Arch, where the canal passes through a tunnel.

An unique performing arts venue in Reims featuring both a 475-seat theater and an exceptional 800-seat permanent circus built in 1865 by Narcisse Brunette. This state-designated national stage specializes exclusively in "movement arts" including dance, circus, puppetry, and interdisciplinary forms, making it distinctive among French cultural institutions.

The Porte de Paris is an ornate wrought iron gate in Reims, commissioned in 1774 for the coronation of King Louis XVI to replace the old medieval Porte de Vesle from the 14th century. Created by local blacksmiths Lecoq and Revel for 26000 livres, the gate was completed too late for the coronation ceremony and was finally installed in 1776 along the Vesle River. Due to changing urban needs and increasing automobile traffic, the gate has been relocated multiple times and now stands in the Basses Promenades on rue de Bir-Hakeim, having been classified as a historic monument in 1919.

The Porte de Paris is located on the Basses Promenades, near the Manège and the Cirque de Reims. It is one of the city's "wandering monuments" and has already been moved three times. (c) https://www.reims-tourisme.com/activite/porte-de-paris/

What do we see? • Wrought iron gate with decorative scrollwork. • Gold decorations, including a coat of arms with three lilies (a traditional French symbol). • A mural crown (civil crown on top of the shield), indicating a city or municipal emblem. • The letter “A” in a laurel wreath on either side – possibly referring to André or Auguste (for example in a historical or urban context), or a reference to the name of a foundation or donor.
