A very nice cycle path in the valley of La Plaine. It follows the La Plaine River for several kilometres. The surface is quite good everywhere.

Sadly rather faded and shabby, Baccarat. The nature in the area is beautiful for walking and cycling. Round Baccarat route (about 50 km) was easy to do on the e-bike with Komoot. Quite a few bits on roads with cars, but it was not very busy.

Beautiful bike path in / out of the mountains. Sometimes too curvy for racing cyclists, but otherwise great. Along an idyllic stream, sometimes through places. Asphalted / concrete slabs throughout - never uncomfortable. We recommend!

In English, this is the "peeing fir tree". The fountain goes through the tree :) The place is charming : shaded picnic tables, a barbecue is there if needed, a gazebo can serve as a shelter in case of rain. There is also a walking path with indications about birds, trees...
