The church is idyllically located in the Linderbach district of Erfurt - only a few steps away from the Hotel LinderHof. The environment is quiet and idyllic. The origin of the church is Romanesque, parts of this building from the 12th century are still preserved on the north-west side. The pointed arch windows and the sacrament house are evidence of this time. The font comes from the year 1580 and the Marien Altar was made in 1495.
