Fast and twisty descent out of Norma. So much fun.
Flat and fast once again, proper straight roads but then got a little more interesting when riding along the coast.
You can tell there are a lot of cyclists around Caiazzo as in the morning we left and saw lots of groups heading out. Caiazzo sits on a

The day started with a pretty savage 8-kilometre (5-mi) climb but was worth it for the descent.
Then a nice 30 kilometre (19-mi) or so but as we got closer to Roma, things got hectic. And then Roma was next level hectic. But cool to see all the history.

The road out of Pontremoli was a lovely way to start, climbing a bit with some nice views, heading through some little villages and towns.
Once you hit the beach, it’s a long stretch of either riding on the main road and stopping at the lights all the time, or riding on the bike path with leisure cyclists

The day started with a nice 3-kilometre (1.8-mi) climb but then quickly turned to flat roads for about 130 kilometres (80 mi)…fast, but main roads.
We landed in the town of Fornovo di Taro for lunch BUT, it was a Monday, with many places shut, and the one place that was open, wasn’t serving pizza…shop

Riding out of Milan wasn’t the best – long bike path followed by main roads and only a handful of nice roads despite covering 100 kilometres (62 mi). Very fast and flat, but busy main roads.
We decided to stop in Brescia which seemed a lovely town and stopped for lunch just off of a main square – great

A classic route taken by many New Yorkers. Starting right in the city at the George Washington Bridge, this ride heads out to the nearby countryside of New Jersey and popular climbs, before reaching the quaint town of Nyack. The perfect destination for post-ride coffee and friendly catch-ups.

In contrast to Barcelona's vibrant atmosphere, stunning architecture, and lively culture - the city also offers serene roads for riding, right on its doorstep.
For an alternative way to sightsee, or a quick afternoon training session, this loop is perfect during siesta hours - boasting a mix of climbs

A nice classic gravel loop for the ambitious before-work dirt ride. (tho I recommend a hardtail for descending Old Springs. If not, do the lower section of the figure 8 in reverse!)

All of the days so far have been for their climbs but Battambang to Siem Reap couldn’t be further from those days. On paper it was a 175km day with 50m of climbing to circumnavigate Tonle Sap, the largest freshwater lake in South-East Asia, which conveniently sits just off the centre of Cambodia

Part of the reason I loved the riding in Cambodia is that you’re never far from rough gravel tracks or a newly built, perfectly tarmacked main road. However, if you want a smooth drive travelling north to south in the west of the country, you have to be willing to take huge detours back to

Not the most inspiring day, but riding into Ho Chi Minh City was a rollercoaster and has traffic so unique to anywhere I’d been so far. HCMC is a city of about 9 million, but within it are over 7 million motorbikes.
That’s nearly three times the amount of cars that we have in London, and then

In recent years, Kedah has hosted one
