Ottobeuren

A lovely short circular route along the Kalkofenweg (Lime Kiln Trail) up the hill east of Ollarzried, through the forest with one of the small protected areas "Tuff Springs in the Allgäu Alpine Foothills" and numerous streams along the trail. The beautiful circular tour takes you through the picturesque Günztal, along the Hundsmoor nature reserve over the eastern ridge back to Ottobeuren. The starting point and destination is the pretty market square in Ottobeuren with an ice cream parlor, cafés and restaurants.
