Spending a day in Basel was a great idea.
Basel is a wonderful city with lots of sights. It's easy to find your way around and the Rhine is a great way to find your way around.

This tour was a personal challenge. The day started with the power bank and charger being stolen at night. The phone still had 95% charge, which meant turning off everything that uses power but allows GPS. A cyclist's tip was to use flight mode. I had replanned the tour so that I could get through "cities

The tour was simply lovely to walk. There was just one misdirection that led me into a dead end and ruined my mood.
But up until then it was just great. Along the Rhine with lots of trees that provided shade.
You should take food with you on the tour as there is no cafe or restaurant.
