Ik heb diverse trekkings ondernomen, zowel in binnen- als buitenland. Internationaal deed ik onder andere de Salkantay (Peru), K2 en Gondogoro La (Pakistan), Laugavegur (IJsland), Dingle Way (Ierland), Westweg (Duitsland), West Highland Way (Schotland), Jordan Trail (Jordanië) en de Alta Via I (Italië). Dichter bij huis liep ik onder meer de Eislek Trail, Müllerthal Trail en Lee Trail. Sommige langeafstandstrails, zoals de National Park Trail (Hoge Kempen) en de GR5A Kustroute heb ik in dagetappes afgelegd.
Ook tijdens mijn reizen maakte ik vaak wandelingen, onder andere in Argentinië (El Chaltén), Chili (Torres del Paine), Mongolië, Nieuw-Zeeland, Australië, Namibië, Mexico, Costa Rica, Bolivia en andere landen.

I picked up this route here on Komoot, but slightly modified it so I wouldn't have to do a section twice. It worked out well, if I say so myself, because the trail is characterized by its small stream valleys, grasslands, and wooded surroundings. The Aa valley, in particular, is a pleasure to walk in

June 27, 2025, was a highlight for Belgian hikers, as a new walk was published on the Original Walks website. I just returned from a long journey through China, Tibet, Nepal, and India, and what better way to return to our little Belgium than an Ardennes hike along idyllic valleys and vanished grass
