From Rorschach, we took a boat up the Old Rhine to Rheineck and then walked back. There are beautiful paths all the way to Altenrhein. From there, unfortunately, most of the walking is directly along the road. Those who want to avoid this should take the bus or train from the Hundertwasser Market Hall in Altenrhein.

Not recommended for imitation. We wanted to see where the Rhine flows into Lake Constance. Unfortunately, that involved a lot of gravel and asphalt paths. However, the short section on the lagoon trail was very beautiful.
