Nice hike to the Palfnersee. Initially through the rustic rooty - stony Zirbenweg. Then along the slope to the rocky Palfnersee ascent. We went back almost the same way and with the Graukogelnahn into the Gastein valley.

A not unexhausting MTB tour, if you are still on the road without battery help like we are. However, the fantastic views and beautiful landscapes make up for the effort that was voluntarily imposed. From Klammstein it's about 5 km relaxed on the bike path to Dorfgastein. But then it gets down to business

Offroad lap. mostly through beautiful forest paths and root passages. In Geisenhausen there was a great Gyros Pita (Poseidon) to recharge your batteries.

Nice short hike. Not too difficult with varied terrain. The view from the gorge is great and at the summit you have a fantastic panoramic view of the mountains and Lake Garda.
