The route is great overall, but there are two things I would fix:
First is the segment soon after Sudbury all the way to Bures. The road is rather busy, with a few steep climbs and poor visibility of the incoming traffic. Nearly got hit by the garbage truck and the van later. Both were descending downhill

Nice route overall. Light off-road and a few calm lanes. Great for gravel, mtb or hybrid bikes. Less so if it's a pure road bike. May get real muddy in Autumn and Winter (some segments).

My bad for not checking the route ahead of the ride. Too much road cycling, some segments can be rather intimidating for inexperienced riders (lorries, trucks speeding past). Hertford is always nice to visit, but the rest of the route is rather dull and lacks points of interest. Don't recommend and

Some nice segments for gravel/offroad, but also includes relatively busy roads. Refining the route is a better option.

I should note that I actually walked from Hertford North, but forgot to record it. Its a nice route via Hertford town.

Note that not all the route is gravel, there are some tarmac too. Avoid riding this after heavy rain, the mud on farmland was so sticky, it clogged my wheels, drivetrain etc. There are road alternatives nearby if those segments are too wet on the day you ride.
