Postponed twice due to bad weather, today, in sunshine and an incredible 29 degrees, I'm finally on the Knife and Pipe Trail.
Many information boards along the trail provide information for history buffs.
I occasionally detoured and followed the Luther Trail.

Summer gave it its all again today,😎so I chose one of my favorite hikes, the Saale Horizontal Trail high above Jena.🥰
The eastern section, from Lobdeburg (which seems to always be covered in scaffolding or surrounded by construction fences) to the Fuchsturm (Fuchs Tower), is a dream.🧚♀️

If you want to explore the Bodden landscape undisturbed, this short hike to the Hinterste Berge mountains with two viewing platforms 👀 is just the thing.
Back along the dike, always towards the Barth church tower, which is visible from afar.

After the two peninsulas of Zingst and Darß, Fischland was on the agenda today.
