This stage starts immediately in the heath. I found the previous stages more beautiful, though. At times, at least at the beginning of the stage, the route is mostly straight on asphalt. Then the landscape changes again. The path leads along the shore of Lake Brunau.

Stage 4 is also beautiful.
I started quite early, so the sky was still overcast. I decided to do stages 4 and 5 in one day due to the somewhat longer approach and the longer ride in the heath shuttle.

Heute mal eine kleine Wanderung zur höchsten Erhebung Bremens "Metallhenge" Ich wohne nur 4 km davon entfernt, habe es bisher aber nicht geschafft, mir das anzusehen. Also ging es vorab durch das Waller Kleingartengebiet auf direktem Wege zur Mülldeponie. Oben angekommen hat man einen grandiosen Blick in allen Richtungen sogar der Weyerberg im fast 40 km entfernten Worpswede, war sichtbar. Ein toller Panoramablick mit allen Highlights. Weserstadion- Fallturm - Roland-Mühle - Waller Fernsehturm - Dom. u.v.m. Ich finde, es ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert. Info zu Metallhenge: Metalhenge in Bremen ist eine Kunstinstallation und ein astronomischer Aussichtspunkt auf einer rekultivierten Müllkippe im Stadtteil Walle. Der Name spielt auf Stonehenge an und bezieht sich auf die kreisförmige Anordnung von verformten Spundbohlen sowie die astronomische Ausrichtung der Installation, die von Künstler Thomas Roth geschaffen wurde. Von diesem rund 40 Meter hohen Punkt hat man eine weitreichende Aussicht über Bremen.
