Getting up from the couch in wind and drizzle is always difficult. But when the sun comes out again, it's fun again.

One of my favorite routes, from Mellrichstadt via Eußenhausen through the beautiful Sülze Valley to Hermannsfeld.

And then I discovered new paths via the Herpf quarry and back through Gleimershausen

Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. we headed to Barmsee for breakfast. Why do people get up so early on vacation? Because cycling is simply the best early morning 😊.

We continued on to Geroldsee, past Kranzberg Castle, and back to Elmau because it was so beautiful there 🥰.

We stopped for a swim in Ferchensee

Komoot and the Karwendel app suggested this "Isar Cycle Path" tour. A cycle path only on roads and federal highways? No fun at all. And especially in these temperatures. I wanted to turn back, but it wouldn't make sense to not reach the destination. So just find my own routes. They're the best anyway

What an ordeal: a 25% incline and 5km uphill. No chance! So I had to walk up. But no matter, I made it, and my wallet is back. Otherwise, I would never have discovered this beautiful alpine pasture.

What a dreamy tour along the Isar River to its source in Scharnitz. A postcard-perfect idyll around every corner. At the Kastenalm, I stopped for some refreshments. I wanted to enjoy the return trip to the fullest. Until, shortly after setting off, I realized I'd lost my wallet with all my credit cards

Finally, the weather is good, and the vacation can begin. And the first tour to Elmau Castle is already incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, I just missed Obama 😁. The tour continued along the Ferchenbach stream and the wild Partnach river. The Bockhütte was only accessible on foot through the wonderfully
