Awesome little loop to Lucca to end my Tuscany trip.

After following the Arno cycle path for about 20km, first stop was Vicopisano. A small fortified village, with several towers as common in the area.

Final day of the Tuscany Trail and today was a blast. All went very well and already finished the last stage around 13.00, even though the base camp situation at casino di terra was something else altogether. The porta potty was out of order, the available space was very limited…

A relax and slow day. With a cleaned bike, and most of the gear cleaned up a bit I set of toward Venturina Terme for the registration of the Tuscany Trail.

Arrived in pisa this afternoon in perfect sunny weather. Still needed to get some supplies for tomorrow, so ideal for a quick stroll along the Arno River and a visit to the museum of the ancient ships where I spend a good 90 minutes.
