Unfortunately I didn't get any further than Landau. The heat of the last few days had taken its toll on me. From Herxheim I went across the fields to the main station in Landau. I didn't like this tour. It was mostly in the shady forest. Only at the end was there a nice view. I was very disappointed because it was a sunny day and I spent it in the shade of the forest.

Control hike on a circular hike that is listed in my hiking guide "Hiking for the soul. Palatinate". It is a shortened version of the Hahnfels tour near Erfweiler. Still a very beautiful hike that is not over-hiked even on the weekend.
