Up to the junction with the national park cycle path at approx. 8 km it is more of a tour for MTB's. My recommendation: From Rosenau via Haslach to the intersection with the NP cycle path, take the road with little traffic and only then take the aforementioned NP path. From there it is good to ride a touring bike.

The route is great for anyone who enjoys navigating the water with interesting information about the construction history of the canal and art sculptures along the way. To get to Ehingen town centre, turn right at the first roundabout and go up Biberacher Strasse. The cycle path parallel to the busy main road to the sign 'Stadtmitte' is very annoying and also takes a long time.
