The building opposite the Wasserburg town hall, named after the Kern family from Wasserburg, consists of several medieval houses. Around 1735/40 they received a joint late baroque stucco facade - one of the most important in southern Germany - by order of the then owners from the electoral court plasterer Johann Baptist Zimmermann or his workshop.
