A beautiful lake that is completely frozen over in winter. You can cross it on foot. Or you can be pulled by a quad on skis to get from one part of the ski area to the other.

This beautiful mountain lake is located on the Turracher Höhe on the border between Carinthia and Styria at an altitude of 1,763 meters. Despite the long and thick ice cover, fish live in the lake.

The valley station of the Panoramabahn is just a few meters from the Turrachsee.
Ascent and descent are free for holders of the Kärnten Card.
Great view of the Turracher Höhe and the opportunity to stop in the mountain restaurant or to take a rapid descent on the Nocky Flitzer summer toboggan run (extra cost). But hello, really something "bigger"!
