On the plateau you walk along a relatively flat path past blooming orchards and flower meadows. Down in the valley you can see the Rhine flowing along. On the plateau you hike on a foothill of the Hunsrück, on the other side of the Rhine you see the first peaks of the Taunus.

I do not know the scene from the series, but the view is great. On a meadow / pasture on the Hunsrück heights, the Rastbank offers a view of the Middle Rhine Valley to St. Goar.
