Art Museum in Lund
Skissernas Museum in the city center of Lund is unique among the art museums, because its focus is not on the presentation of finished works of art, but it shows the creation of these works.

Founded in 1934, the Museum of Artistic Process and Public Art Museum has about 30,000 exhibits and the world's largest collection of drafts, sketches, models and models of finished art.

Among them are precursors to works of international modern artists and contemporary art - from simple pencil sketches of first ideas up to five-meter plaster models. It includes works by Sonja Delauny, Henry Moore, Henri Matisse and the well-known Mexican painters Diego Rivera and David Alfaro Siqueiros, as well as numerous Swedish artists, to whom a separate room is dedicated in the museum.

The extensive permanent exhibition is supplemented by exhibitions of various artists changing several times a year. At the same time, the museum offers a comprehensive supporting program for children, adolescents and adults with guided tours, concerts, lectures or an art workshop.

The museum has no own visitor parking, but is located within walking distance of the old town and the cathedral. Disabled toilets are located in the entrance area and the individual floors of the building are accessible via a lift.
