The former hunting lodge of the Hohenlohe family Schillingsfürst is the ideal place for a stopover after a hike around the picturesque Altausseer See in the Salzkammergut. With a view of the lake you can enjoy specialties from the region (strudel!) (Open from 11 am on weekends if the weather is suitable).
In 2015, shooting took place at the Jagdhaus for the James Bond movie "Specter". In the film, the secret agent meets Mr. White and learns about the crook shortly before his death important information. The hut stops exceptionally.
